Our intro to both the team and the project!
MARY NEARY
I'm from Paradise, UT and am majoring in Communication Studies and minoring in History. I'm a Cache Valley native and come from a family of Aggies. I like to draw, listen to music, read and any activity that takes me outside on a sunny day. I like to run, and have completed two half marathons. I also love to dance, whether is swing dancing at the Fun Park, or salsa dancing at the Whittier Center. I am always looking for a laugh!
My contributions were editing the blog, putting together the conclusion and finding the old cigarette commercials and ads. I also helped come up with the idea for the team's mock truth ad with Paul.
CHELSEA 'THING 1' HUNTER
Hi I'm Chelsea, but my friends call me Lula after the hot sauce, Cholula. I'm just a spicy girl. ;) In all seriousness though, I'm just a girl living on dreams and spaghettios, still just trying to figure out the world around me. But I do know what is most important in my life, and that is friends and family. But along with the ones I love, I also enjoy Tennis, Boating, Camping, and anything outdoors! Wherever you do find me in life, you'll find me with a smile, because life's too short to be anything but happy.
My contributions to this project included the character analysis, ethics, and put together the team intro video.
PAUL CHRISTIANSEN

I'm from Montpelier, Idaho originally but I have adopted Logan as my home while I attend Utah State University. I come from a long line of Aggies and am a JCOM major with an emphasis in print journalism. I'm a staff writer for The Statesman. I am a musician; I just released a full-length folk-rock album in January called All Things, Eventually. It's available on iTunes and through Amazon music. I spend any free time I have playing promotional shows throughout Cache Valley and the state of Utah, dabbling in acts of journalism as I go.
My contributions included the identification of distinct differences between the film and reality, researching the cinematic themes brought to light in the film, editing the blog, brainstorming ideas for our team's own anti-smoking ad, sorting through old-timey cigarette ads and propaganda, failing at ripping and compiling film clips from the DVD and smoking copious amounts of Marlboro Skylines to curb my stress levels.

CHELSEA 'THING 2' POWELL
I consider myself a very happy person. I grew up in Logan Utah, I've been a swimmer my whole life, which I've been able to in cooperate into my job as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the pool on the Utah State University campus. I am majoring in journalism and communication and one day I hope to move to the west coast and begin working for a prestigious newspaper or radio station.
I'm different just like everyone else, I'm opinionated and spontaneous and more than likely to do something I've never done before because I love new experiences.
For my contribution to this blog, I wrote the facts about cigarettes, located and posted all of the Truth commercials, Wrote an overview of the Vanity Fair magazine article on Jeffrey Wigand. I also contributed some of the pictures to the blog.

McCALL BULLOCH
Besides having a killer aim with a pistol, there's some things you should know about me. I'm majoring in Public Relations and love being an Aggie! I get sad when people aren't as excited about life as I am. I have a soft spot for Mexican food and smoothies. Sometimes I wish I could yodel and I'm really terrible at rollerblading. More often than not I'm either laughing, sleeping, or talking in accents. One time in high school I broke a boy's nose and I've been hardcore ever since.
For my contributions I put together the timeline, wrote the overview and background of the event, did news coverage on the New York Times and CBS, and helped Chelsea with the ethics page. I also was in charge of the blog design and layout.
